The Q - anchorage of the Port is as follows :

The premises of the sea commercial port are located in a section of the coastal strip
having a width of 200 to 300 mtrs along Berths Nos. 1 through 11, and a width of up
to 600 meters at Berths Nos. 12 through 16. The Port is opened for navigation all the
year round and can handle vessels of:
Up to 260 meters in length;
Up to 11.0 meters in draft.
Any vessels having greater dimensions than the above ones may only call at
the Port with the Harbour Master's special permission. The depths at the approaches
to the inner roads of the Port are navigable for vessels having a draft up to 19 meters. |

Each inbound, outbound or shifting vessel shall contact Traffic Control on Ch.67
VHF. The permission for a vessel to get moored or unmoored at the berth shall be
given by the controller-operator currently on duty on the respective wharf, upon the
approval of the Traffic Control.

Using pilot's service and proceeding with a pilot on board inside the port
water area is compulsory. Pilot's assistance is compulsory in the Port during any
mooring operations, shifting or hauling at a distance of more then the length of the
hull of a vessel. The pilot shall be embarked and disembarked in Waiting Area No.
175A when the vessel proceeds to or from Ussuriysky Gulf. In the event of difficult
navigational and/or hydro meteorological conditions the Harbour Master may order
to send a pilot on board a vessel without having received any request thereof from the
vessel's master. Master shall be obliged to sign the pilot's bill and pay the pilotage.

The use of tugs is compulsory in the Port when mooring a vessel or shifting or
hauling her at a distance of more than the length of the hull. The necessary number of
tugs shall be determined by the master of a vessel together with a pilot having regard
to the specific conditions. |

Available in accordance with international rules and laws of Russian
Inward/outward clearance at anchorage and/or at berth from 08:00 till 20:00 including weekends and holidays
|
|
|
|
The period of ice navigation in the Port is generally established as of January
to March by the Harbour Master's order. If the commencement of the period of ice
navigation has been notified, it is advisable for a vessel calling to the Port to have an
adequate category of ice strengthening. A vessel having no category of ice
strengthening shall sail in the Port with the assistance of an icebreaker and a sufficient
number of tugboats. |

As of the time when the vessel events the territorial water of the Russian
Federation and during the whole period of her stay in the Port the sea opening valves
of the vessel's ballast drainage systems and sewage water system shall be kept closed
and sealed. No vessel lying at a berth or in the roads in the Port may:
Discharge polluted water into the sea including water from the isolated ballast tank and the clean ballast tank, or throw any waste overboard.
Kindle an open fire on board or burn the vessel's waste of any kind.
Release any noxious substances to the atmosphere.
Use vessel's incinerators.
Wash or decontaminate her tanks. |

All vessel's lying in the water area or at berths in the Port shall keep w
continuous radio watch at VHF Channel 16 if they may not use telephone service.
